San Lorenzo Learning Center
​English Education
Our English courses cover all four language aspects in order to ensure success in all areas of the language – reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Classes are taught by native-English speaking volunteers and are available for all interested students in the local area.

Community Development
The San Lorenzo Learning Center provides a positive environment for students of all ages to learn English. The Center will periodically offer additional courses and workshops on other skills, including computer based topics.
​Volunteer Information

Volunteers teach for a period of 3 months or longer. Volunteer positions are unpaid, but room and board is provided. Volunteers live with host families, which provide the opportunity to improve Spanish skills and learn about Costa Rican culture.
